Coon’s Meats

A family owned and operated business for over 31 years. At coons processing, all meats are in vacuum sealed packaging, labeled to show weight, product type, and date packaged. We treat each and every animal we process as if it was our own meat.

My brother and I ran and managed the meat department of a local supermarket for over 30 years. Our knowledge of processing and meat handling goes back many years. The different flavors of fresh sausage we offer are my own home created and perfected recipes. That Were created based on customer requests and knowledge obtained over the years while running the local meat department.

As a matter of fact, I’ve had individuals travel from Lansing, Toledo and Detroit to buy my home made Italian sausage. I have been commissioned by my Italian customers to make sausage for special occasions and family get togethers as our recipes are authentic and passed for many generations.
Over the course in business I’ve trained butchers, and wrappers who are currently still in the business.
We take great strides to make all our customers and clientele feel at home and answer any questions or concerns on their meat to be processed to insure satisfaction is guaranteed. Tho there’s times I can’t answer the phone so please leave a voice mail or shoot me a text and I will respond as soon as I can. Deer season is demanding time as we take extra strides to continually maintain that down home feeling and experience for our customers and clientele.
